Dubbas Paneer Maker: Make Fresh Paneer at Home

The Dubbas Paneer Maker is a premium quality paneer press made from food-grade stainless steel, providing a great way to make fresh and hygienic paneer at home. This sturdy and durable paneer cheese maker is also dishwasher-safe, making it easy to maintain.

The package includes three pieces: the container/mould to shape the paneer, the removable base, and the lid to easily drain the water by pressing from the top. The dimensions of the paneer maker are 5.25" in length, 5.25" in width, and 1.5" in height. Though it is a compact size, it can make up to 1 lb of paneer using around 3/4 gallon of curdled milk.

To use the Dubbas Paneer Maker, follow these steps:

1. Remove the lid (the plain steel rectangle plate with the ring handle) and slide the base of the container (the steel rectangle plate with holes) into place. Place the paneer maker on a trivet in the sink or in a large container.

2. Strain the curdled milk through the paneer maker so that the solids remain in the paneer mould while the whey drains out. Make sure to do this slowly in the sink or a big pot, using a ladle to make the process much easier. If the milk was curdled correctly, no solids will go through the little holes in the paneer maker.

3. Cover the paneer mould with its lid and press the lid down to drain as much excess liquid as possible.

4. Place a heavy weight on the lid and leave for a couple of hours to drain out all the liquid. Ensure that the weight is actually pressing down on the lid and not on the base of the mould.

5. After a few hours, flip the container and push the base down to slide out the nice, firm paneer, which is now ready for cooking.

Enjoy the fresh paneer however you like - grill it, fry it, or cook it in your favorite curry.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the milk is boiled (with visible bubbles) to avoid curdled milk solids leaking through the holes when draining, which can result in crumbly cheese-like paneer.
